Nothing’s sexier than men with power tools.

Sultry summer heat has nothing on the five-man crew renovating the house next door. No one could blame Kate for leaning out the window for a better view of the manscape. The nasty fall that follows isn’t part of her fantasy—but the man who saves her from splattering the sidewalk  is definitely the star.

When Mike personally attends to her injuries, she realizes her white knight in a hard hat has a tender side, giving her no choice but to surrender to the lust that’s been arcing between them since day one. In the aftermath of the best sex of her life, she whispers her most secret desire: to be ravaged by his crew.

She never expected Mike would dare her to take what she wants—or that the freedom to make her most decadent desires come true could be the foundation for something lasting…

Warning: This book may cause you to spontaneously combust as five hot guys bring a woman’s wildest fantasies to life during one blazing summer affair.

This book and this series is reverse harem. There is no trigger warnings in this book.

This short story was sizzling and it was a great book! It got me hooked right from the beginning. The MC male, Mike hooked me and did not let go. I will tell you the reason in a moment but it is set in summer. The MC female, Kate was working on a house that is next to the crew’s renovating house next door. Kate was watching the men and then fell onto the floor. Mike and his crew came running to see if she was ok. Mike stayed with her while the other crew went home for the night. Their relationship started after that.

Now Mike is the lead foremen on his construction crew. His personality was tender, sweet and caring. He shows his leadership on the site with his crew. He showed his tenderness, love, and his sweetness to Kate. Mike became my favorite then Joe became my second. Mike showed Kate that she has nothing to be afraid of and that she can trust them. Most of all, trust him. I think that what got me when Mike did that to Kate. To see a man showing that he is trustworthy is sweet and romantic!

Kate had a crush on Mike all summer. While she was working, she was getting her eye candy. At first, she was kind of reserve when meeting the crew. She opened up as she hung out with the crew and Mike. She was a sweet, confident woman. A woman knows what she wants.

The chemistry and the attraction between Mike and Kate were hot. As the relationship unfolded in this novella was nice to see. They were meant for each other and were good together!

This is the first book that I read from this author. I was in for some surprises. I didn’t know what to except from this book. I fell in love with the characters. After I was done, I was wanting the next book. This was a well written book. I have read almost all of the books in this series. I only have two left.

Hammer it Home is on my August TBR list. I can’t wait to start it and spend some time with the crew.

The More The Merrier will get done this winter. It is a Christmas book. I am saving that one for a Winter Christmas read, to get myself in the mood for the Holidays. Before this year will end, I will have this series done.

Hammer it Home is an induction to the Hot Rods series.

King Cobra is the first book in the Hot Rods series. I will be starting this one soon! They are mentioned in Nailed To The Wall.

I finished this book in June.
