I’m crazy late on finishing my new book. When the publisher says “turn it in, or else” I book a cabin in the Montana wilderness.

Just my luck, the cabin’s owner is hot. Really hot. And distracting. Very distracting. Let’s just say it’s a good thing I’m writing a romance, and I need the inspiration.

I needed cash. She needed quiet. It seemed simple enough. But the minute she sets foot in my cabin, it becomes anything but simple.

Still, I don’t mind being the inspiration for her new book. Especially not if I get to help with some of the research under the covers.

This was one of my favorite one out of this series. Emmy is a writer and that got hooked me. Since I am writer as well. I guess I have a soft spot for books with characters who is a writer. She went to the mountains in Montana. I found Emmy was a nice person and had some depth to her. She was attracted to Rhett right away. I thought it was interesting that Rhett was renting his house out for the summers. That is one way to make money.

Rhett was a very patent man when it came to helping Emmy when she needed help. He seemed alive to me. He had background and depth to him. He was a believable character. The attraction he had Emmy when he first met her seemed real.

Emmy seemed like she was a city girl and not from the country. There is one part that you will see if you read it. The love story of Rhett and Emmy were believable and seemed real. The author, Kate did a good job of creating well-developed characters. With each book, the world building gets better.

Watching Rhett and Emmy interact with each other was entertaining. Whenever Emmy needed help, Rhett was right there then there was some funny moments. Their chemistry was sizzling throughout the book.  Their love were insta and tender and sweet.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a quick romance read. I loved this book.

The next two book reviews will come soon
