It is time for the monthly TBRs. I needed sometime to think about my TBRs this month. The last few months has been contemporary romance books. Now I am going back to YA Fantasy Books. This summer will be still contemporary romance. I want to see if this books will be good. Here are the books I want to read this month!
1. Meant to Be (Sweetbriar Cove #1) by Melody Grace
Poppy Somerville believes in happily-ever-after. It’s the reason her romance novels have won devoted readers all over the world—and why she’s broken off her engagement just weeks before the wedding instead of settling for less than true love. Escaping to her aunt’s beach cottage in Sweetbriar Cove, Poppy is looking for inspiration to end her writer’s block and finish her new book. She just wasn’t counting on the handsome, gruff contractor making such a racket next door…
Cooper Nicholson doesn’t believe in soul-mates. He thought he’d found his forever once, and the world proved him wrong, so when the cute brunette comes storming over and demands he keep the noise down, romance is the last thing on his mind. But his new neighbor is full of surprises, and soon, their chemistry is too hot to ignore.
As they grow closer, they discover fiction has nothing on the plot twists life has in store. But will Cooper find a way to let go of the past and risk his heart again? And can Poppy find her happy ending — on and off the page?
2. Catatonic (Tails of Talisman Book 1) by T. M. Stark
Just one kiss to break the spell… that’s all she needs.
Cursed by a jealous witch, Penelope Delacroix’s spells are all going wrong and backfiring, creating havoc in town.
The vengeful witch won’t quit until she siphons all of Penelope’s powers.
And all it will take is one perfect, heartfelt kiss from Penelope’s one true love to put an end to all this turmoil.
Shh… there’s a problem. It’s a secret.
Penelope has no idea that Dr. Lucas Collier, the compassionate local veterinarian, is in love with her. Nor does he know that she’s in love with him.
Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
But I know and I have to do something about it.
But what can I do, since I’m only her cat.
Every witch has a cat.
And I’m going to fix this.
Author’s Note: From USA Today Bestselling Author, Tami Stark, comes this funny, twisty cozy mystery series featuring a group of smart animal sleuths with personality to spare. This book is a PREQUEL that introduces the enticing village of Shadowkeep and ends with a cliffhanger. The story continues and ends in the full-length novel, Cataclysmic, available now!
3. Emerald Warrior by Karen Tomlinson
A broken warrior. A human healer. A curse that will unite them…or shatter them forever.
After surviving the war of the Eight Kingdoms, Commander Attion Sarou finds his identity blurring. Tasked by his king and queen to learn more about his green magic and healing talents, Attion discovers himself in uncharted territory when he falls for Meri, a human healer burdened by a debilitating curse. But Attion is a killer, not a healer. It’s where his talent lies. And when his aggressive fae desires surface and his emotions slip from his control, Attion becomes determined to let Meri live free of his toxic presence. Forcing himself to leave her behind, he sets off on a quest to find a cure for the cruel curse that plagues this beautiful healer. Meri isn’t frightened by Attion’s brutal history – or by Attion himself. But demons seem to haunt the green-winged fae warrior. When he leaves without telling her why, Meri stubbornly resolves to be the one to conquer those demons for him—even if it means risking her life, and her heart, to vanquish them.As they each embark on their own quests, Attion and Meri face magic and conflict that places both their lives in unforseen jeopardy. Can a warrior with a broken past, and the cursed human healer who has unlocked his heart, survive the dangers they face as they struggle to reunite?
That is my June TBR list.
